Adult Basic Education Classes at Northwood Technical College

Northwood Technical College offers adult basic education classes at its four main campuses and several outreach sites. These classes aim to assist adults in various ways, such as preparing for the GED/HSED exams, college entrance, receiving course and program support, maintaining employment, entering the workforce with confidence, and achieving personal goals.

Skills Development and Support

These classes provide an opportunity for adults to brush up on basic skills, including reading, writing, grammar, science, social studies, and math. Additionally, students can learn study skills and test-taking strategies. The faculty and staff at Northwood Tech are dedicated to supporting students in both open lab and structured class settings. Enrollment is open throughout the semester.

Flexibility and Accessibility

The adult basic education classes are flexible, free of charge, and available to Wisconsin residents who are 18½ years of age or older.
